Sacred space

I am so grateful

for our 3 furry angels

who arise in the early morning

to the chorus of chirping birdies

and guide me out to our sacred space

- our beautiful garden sanctuary -

I stand in awe and say my prayers

as we watch the sun come up

over the mountain.

There is nothing more pleasing

to the senses 🥰

What a gift to experience this

heaven on earth.

But, then after coffee

I rush out into the world

- work, shopping,

appointments, phone calls,

emails, traffic, chores

and I forget…

If I am lucky

a random act of kindness

a warm smile

a beautiful flower

or a rainbow

catches my attention

and a thought crosses my mind…

There must be more to life

than this daily grind.

Surely we are all capable

of seeing & experiencing more beauty

Maybe Mother Earth needs more of us

to wake up & remember…

to be who we were meant to be

to do what makes our heart sing

to have a life full of love, joy, & abundance?
