... but what about spilt cupcakes and broken glass?

I spent 4 days in the Kootenays during the cold spell in February, making sure the water pipes did not freeze at my house in Krestova.

I bought some beautiful artisan cupcakes to bring home for my hubby, sister-in-law and her hubby, and brother-in-law and his wife, for Valentine's Day.

I was excited to share these delicious cupcakes and was in a bit of a rush to take everything in one trip (2 pans of cupcakes, some mail, and a glass tray that came to our place carrying a pizza for Barry, while I was away).

As I was opening the door to the garage, I bumped the glass tray and everything flew out of my arms and onto the concrete sidewalk and garage floor.

I fell to my knees and bawled like a baby.

After a couple of minutes, I picked myself up and went to get a broom.

So much for good intentions! What's the lesson here?
